Sound Sand & Finish Specializes in Wood Floor Refinishing

Picture
Refinishing wood floors is our passion. Whether your looking to have your hardwoods sanded and resurfaced, cleaned and polished, or screened and top coated, Sound Sand & Finish is the wood flooring contractor in the Seattle Metro Area to call.

We provide a clean service using top of the line floor sanding equipment, including vacuums which are attached to all our machines. We take great effort to reduce the amount of dust and airborne particulates in your home that are created throughout the process.

Using painters plastic and blue tape we're able to create some highly efficient barriers in effort to protect the adjacent rooms and their contents. We isolate the work area inside your home by masking off cabinets, doorways and even vaulted ceilings. In addition, we seal off vents and cold air returns, and then turn off the H.V.A.C. system to protect your duct-work.

When it comes to selecting a finish for your hardwood floors, you'll be hard pressed to find another flooring contractor who's done as much homework and research on this topic as Brian Johnston. We've been ahead of the curve, applying our industries latest and greatest waterborne finishes since 2002. Thanks to the advancements in modern chemistry, these products are now the clear winner in all performance categories. Compared with all other finishes available, they are the quickest to dry and fastest to cure, are the toughest around in terms of durability and chemical resistance, and as if that weren't exciting enough... they also happen to be extremely minimal in toxicity.

When your ready to have your wood floor restored with expertise, by a professional hardwood refinishing company, give Sound Sand & Finish a call. We'll do a phenomenal job and take proper care your home throughout the process.
